Bless Yer Heart is a five-piece country-tinged rock band formed in May of 2013, and based out of Abbeville, SC. Although this version of the band was established just recently, Brad Dixon, Nathan Nelson, and Eric Delgado have a 15-year history of writing and performing together. In that time, you can say that these old dogs learned some new tricks. The three have taken an array of life experiences and used them to hone in on a level of songwriting they couldn’t have reached over a decade ago. Their debut album “A Heart in Limbo” is stacked with songs about falling in love, falling back out, and breaking down and rebuilding yourself. They take feelings and subjects that have been written about all too often and approach them with a more mature mindset which only difficult situations can teach. What you hear when listening to BYH are words crafted into stories that go straight to your head, rhythms aimed to get you moving, and melodies that will stay in your ears long after the album ends. This is a band to watch. Time will tell if their honest approach to music catches on, but you shouldn’t bet against them, as time has only proven beneficial to their sound thus far.
IndieHitMaker exists because artists cannot directly report their live show sales to SoundScan. Only record labels and distribution companies that pay the annual fees and fit the mandated requirements can qualify for this exclusive program. Since most independent and unsigned artists sell the majority of their CDs at live shows, without IndieHitMaker these sales would go unreported and unaccounted for in US SoundScan sales numbers making it next to impossible for industry executives, deal makers, and A&R to discover you. By simply reporting all your sales to SoundScan, you can significantly increase your awareness within the industry. Sell enough and everyone will know when you get on the Billboard Charts.
