Stonewall, LA, USA

So do your listeners a favor and spin a track or two of the album and for once finally do something different than the cross town conglomerate. A friend and long time fan - Patrick Hall KXKZ 107.5 Ruston, La n Today's world of bubblegum and pick-up trucks... It is refreshing to hear a band that takes the perfect amount of Guitar, Perfect dose of Redneck, and throws it together to make a gumbo on the other side of the Bayou... This guys leave you wanting more and don't apologize... Not only does Cody get it, but the audience gets Cody and the connection is nothing short of magical. Gary McCoy - Program Director KXKS Kiss Country - Town Square Media Cody Cooke gives our station some much needed rough and rowdy country for the 21st century. His talk of muddy tires and cold beers drives our listeners “Buck Wild”. - Matt McKinney, PD- KXKZ Z1075 "One part Hank...One part Jamey..One part Skynyrd.. 100% Outlaw Country!" "From the Sticks to the Stage" Raised on the Texas-Louisiana state line, Cody Cooke IS country music. He lives, eats, and sleeps country music. The words to his songs are based on his life experiences. Born in Mansfield, Louisiana, Cody grew up cruising the back roads, fishing the best creeks, and sipping the finest shine that the south has to offer. Cody's music offers hints of his favorite influences from Hank 1, 2, & 3, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, David Allan Coe, Travis Tritt, & Tony Joe White to newer artists such as Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, & Brantley Gilbert. His sound is truly classic outlaw country with a rockin' sound -turned up to eleven. Since releasing his first album, "Gitcha Country On" (which appeared on the Billboard Charts and nominated for 2 Grammys), Cody Cooke has toured all over the southeast, both opening for major country stars like David Allan Coe, Colt Ford, & Travis Tritt and also headlining clubs, festivals and major mud rides. His first single, Buck Wild, charted on Nashville's Music Row charts and continues to be played on country radio. Cody's 2nd album, Son of the South, was released October 25, 2013 and hit the #1 position on Billboard's Heat Seeker Chart for the south east. This news was particularly exciting for Cooke and the boys after finding out their debut single, "Buck Wild," had been recently added to 32 radio stations across the country. "There's no better feeling than knowing folks all around the country are requesting one of my songs," remarked Cooke. Cooke describes his music as classic, outlaw country with a kick. Cody Cooke has only been performing for the last 3 years, but frequently tours with David Allan Coe and has shared the stage with notable artists such as Brantley Gilbert, Colt Ford, Travis Tritt, Kevin Fowler, Pat Green, Shooter Jennings, Randy Houser, Justin Moore, Whiskey Myers, Jason Boland, as well as others. Cooke's debut album, Gitcha Country On is available on most digital outlets including itunes, Pandora Radio, Touchtune Jukeboxes, local CD stores, and at all of his shows. The Bayou Outlaws are: Kyle Roop ( Seven Hours to Southland) Jackie Brock (the American Tragedy, Crackfight) Billy Melancon (crackfight) Shawn Lake (Percy Sledge, Losing Anna,)
