A Michigan Rock & Roll Legends Hall of Fame band.
The Sixth Generation is a Michigan Rock & Roll Legends Hall of fame band that was originally formed in 1966 and was a very popular band until the members went off to college in 1970. They reformed with original members in 2010 and have become more popular than ever since they got back together, regularly touring in the US. They also did a tour in the UK in 2013 and are planning a return tour to the UK in 2016. Whether the band is performing on the lakefront in Chicago, the National Mall in Washington, DC, the Cavern Club in Liverpool, England, or anywhere else, audiences love them. Their original hit "This Is The Time" which was released on a 45 rpm record in 1967 has become a sought-after collectors item. The sequel, "That Was The Time" was released on their "That Was... This Is" album in 2013 as an autobiography of the band and has become a de facto anthem for baby boomers across the world. The band's latest single, "Livin' In A Small Town" is currently taking the world by storm.
