Located at Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles, CA, VocalizeU will give its attendees the music industry experience every young performer dreams of attending.

For 10 days, attendees have the chance to take classes from experts in the areas of songwriting, performance, music production, and music business with the goal of increasing and nurturing their artistry.

Mentor sessions and music industry classes are available in order to build industry knowledge and learn how to apply it to their own or another artists career path. There are multiple opportunities to connect and collaborate with world-renowned producers, top music executives, and those who have written your favorite hit songs.

Accompanied by top industry musicians and background singers, young artists will be selected to perform a song in front of an industry panel for critique each evening. The stage will be equipped with industry quality lights and sound. Each performance also comes with a professional four camera photography and video.

On the first day of VocalizeU, there will be a full overview of all classes and mentors in order to decide who will best help you to develop the chosen aspects of your artistry and career to develop. Classes to choose from include songwriting, guitar, vocal identity, performance technique, dance, production, and many more. Each participant will have their own vocal coach to help them to hone their vocal style, range, image, and creative potential. Classes, mentors, and vocal coaches are available all 10 days of VU.

The first day of VU consists of moving into housing, a meet and greet lunch, VU orientation, picking classes, auditioning for select classes, and an opening night show by a surprise artist. On the days jam-packed with classes, there is a VU fit daily workout session and nightly artist Spotlight performances. Each class will perform for their fellow artists throughout the duration of VU. At the final night performance, a group of performers will be selected and awards will be distributed.

Artists may choose from three packages while at VU that allow you to choose if you would like to have a private room, share one, or commute to the event. Every package includes all meals, classes, private vocal lessons, access to mentor sessions, and nightly Spotlight performances.
